Coffee from a Colorado roaster makes a strong corporate holiday gift because it gets used up instead of stored in a drawer, and it carries a local name your client or employee can look up. Corporate holiday gifts for clients
A client gift should arrive without work on their end and remind them of you more than once. Gift subscriptions do both.
- Ampersand Coffee Roasters in Boulder sells gift subscriptions of 3, 6 or 12 months. Its whole lineup is Fair Trade and organic, and it buys a large share of its coffee through Cafe Femenino, a network supporting women farmers. For a client with sustainability goals, that is an easy story to tell.
- Pablo's Coffee in Denver also sells gift subscriptions of 3, 6 or 12 months. It has roasted since 1995 and puts most of its marketing budget into community donations.
For a one-time box, sampler packs let a client try several coffees at once. OZO sells blend and single origin samplers, Color Coffee Roasters in Eagle has single origin and Latin American variety packs, and Middle State and Conscious Coffees sell sample packs. Peregrine sells a Peregrine Gold reserve line in 6 oz tins, which looks the part on a client's desk.
Gifts for your own team
For employees, an experience can beat another mug. Novo Coffee runs private group tours of its Larimer Street roastery in Denver, alongside public classes in home brewing, espresso basics and latte art. OZO in Boulder teaches home barista and latte art classes. Either one makes a December team outing, and Novo's Friday tours end with a tasting of four coffees.
For a team that travels, instant coffee from a real roaster goes in every carry-on. Huckleberry makes instant coffee from several of its blends and single origins, Loyal in Colorado Springs sells Ridgeline instant, Dark Heart in Loveland sells Dawn 2 Dusk instant, and OZO makes a freeze-dried instant from its own roasts. Queen City sells steeped coffee bags, another way to carry good coffee through an airport.
For a team that cares where the money goes, Wagon Coffee in Denver was founded to give women in recovery jobs and a second chance. Its coffee comes in bags and in recyclable K-cup pods, which suits an office brewer.

The gifts people remember come with something to say about them. Several Colorado roasters publish stories that travel well in a client note:
- Kaladi, which roasts in Englewood with a fluid bed air roaster, has an Awaken Community line of coffees grown only on women-owned farms.
- Blue Sparrow in Denver runs yearly waste audits, and its parent company, Mainspring, earned B Corp certification in 2023.
- Conscious Coffees is a Certified B Corporation and has bought from the Maya Vinic cooperative in Chiapas, Mexico since 2001.
- Camp 4 began as a winter coffee cart at the Mt. Crested Butte bus stop and hand roasts every coffee in Crested Butte South. Its coffee comes in 1 lb bags ground to order.
A practical note for the list itself: ask each recipient, or guess well, whether they grind at home. Whole bean suits a client with a grinder on the counter; ground suits the rest.
