What the single origin coffee subscription sends
Our single origin coffee subscription sends a 12 oz bag of coffee from one farm or region, roasted to order by a different independent Colorado roaster every box and shipped in their own bag. The price is the same as a blend: $16.99 a bag. First bag free, you pay $7.99 shipping, then every 2 or 4 weeks until you skip, pause or cancel online.
Set the style to single origin in the plan builder. Any roast level works: light, medium, dark, or mix it up and let the roaster decide.
Single origin or blend?
A single origin shows you one place: one farm, one cooperative or one region, with the flavor that place and its harvest produce. A blend combines coffees so it tastes the same bag after bag. Neither wins on paper; single origin suits people who like the bag to change.
This plan does not send blends, and it does not promise any particular roaster, country or farm. What arrives depends on the roaster filling your box and what they have in season.
How Colorado roasters we list buy single origins
A single origin is only as good as the roaster's buying. Here is how some of the roasters we list describe theirs, from their own pages, checked September 27, 2026. They are local favorites, and a listing does not mean the roaster is part of the club.
- Sweet Bloom in Lakewood sells most of its single origins under the individual producer's name and buys smaller, recently harvested lots, so its menu turns with harvests around the world.
- Middle State in Denver names most of its single origins for the grower or the washing station, and looks for small lots from small farms.
- Huckleberry in Denver still sells a single origin from the APROCAFE growers near Lake Atitlan in Guatemala, its longest and most hands-on producer relationship.
- Corvus in Denver prints the story of the farm on its single origin bags.
- Durango Coffee Company buys direct trade coffee from Las Lajas, a family farm near Poas Volcano in Costa Rica known for honey and natural processing.
- Peregrine, whose cafe is in Westcliffe, may taste around twenty coffees from a region before choosing one.
- Switchback in Colorado Springs runs a monthly rotating single origin subscription of its own, and formed its first direct farm relationship, with the Menendez family farm, in 2016.
- Bindle in Fort Collins lists the importer, producer, process and elevation for each coffee.
The Colorado half of the story
A single origin bag tells you where the coffee grew. Buying it from a Colorado roaster adds the other end of the trip: a roaster in this state who chose that lot, roasted it here and paid Colorado wages to do it. You can name both the farm and the roaster. Why local roasters matter.

Does single origin cost more here?
No. Every roast and style is $16.99 a bag, and the first bag is free with $7.99 shipping.
Can I mix a single origin with a blend?
Yes. Choose two bags and give the second bag its own style, such as a single origin for weekends and a blend for weekdays.
Will I get the same roaster twice?
Not in your first year. Each box comes from a Colorado roaster you have not had from us before, and each one picks from its own lineup.
