Year one: the climb

Your first year is twelve boxes, each named for a real fourteener and each higher than the last, topping out on Mount Elbert, the highest point in Colorado. The roaster changes every box. After Elbert the climb keeps going through the rest of Colorado's 53 ranked fourteeners.

      How does the first free bag work?

      Your first box comes with one free bag. After that it is $16.99 a bag. You get an email 3 days before every box, and you can skip, pause or cancel anytime. One free bag per customer: we match it by email and shipping address.

      How fresh is the coffee?

      Roasted and shipped within 3 days. Each roaster roasts your bag to order and ships it straight from their roastery.

      Can I skip, pause or cancel?

      Yes, anytime before the next box is roasted. A reminder email 3 days before each box, so nothing ships by surprise.

      How do I manage my subscription?

      Every email we send has links to skip a box, pause, change your card or cancel.

      What if I do not like a bag?

      Free replacement if a bag disappoints. Tell us and we send a different coffee. Your ratings steer the next bag, too.

      We like different coffee. Can we share?

      Yes. Pick two bags and give the second one its own roast and style: light and decaf, dark and espresso-friendly, any pair. Both come from that month's roasters in the same box.

      What if I start mid-year?

      Everyone starts at Box 1, Pikes Peak, whenever they join, and climbs from there.

      Will I get the same roaster twice?

      Not in your first year. With more than 150 independent roasters in Colorado, each box is one you have not had from us before.

      What happens after Box 12?

      You have topped out on Elbert. Year two picks up the next set of Colorado's 53 ranked fourteeners, with roasters you have not had yet. Stop anytime.

      Do you ship outside Colorado?

      Yes, anywhere in the US. Plenty of our boxes go to Coloradans who moved away.
