Is a coffee subscription worth it?
It is worth it if you drink coffee most days and want it fresh: you get a bag roasted to order on your schedule without a trip to the store. Here it costs $16.99 a bag, the first bag is free with $7.99 shipping, and you can skip or cancel online anytime.
What a Colorado subscription adds is the roaster. Each box comes from a different independent roaster in the state, so you taste your way through places like Colorado Springs, Boulder and Durango, and the money stays with them. Read why local roasters matter.
How does a coffee of the month club work?
You set a roast and style once, and every 2 or 4 weeks a different Colorado roaster roasts a bag for you and ships it in their own packaging. You rate each bag and we use your ratings to choose the next one. The full walk-through is on how it works.
Plans and price
How much does it cost?
$16.99 a bag, whatever the roast or style. A two-bag box is two bags at that price.
Is the first bag really free?
Yes, the coffee is free and you pay $7.99 shipping for that first box. After that it is $16.99 a bag. There is one free bag per customer, matched by email and shipping address.
Can I choose the roast?
Yes. Pick light, medium or dark, or choose mix it up and let each roaster pick. Then pick a style: single origin, blend, espresso-friendly or decaf.
We like different coffee at home. Can we share one box?
Yes. Choose two bags and give the second bag its own roast and style, such as a light single origin and a decaf.
Whole bean or ground?
Either. Every bag is 12 oz, whole bean or ground, your choice.
How often does it come?
Every 2 or 4 weeks, your choice. You can skip a box whenever you have coffee left.
Gifts
What do the gifts cost?
3 boxes for $66.99, 6 boxes for $134.99 or 12 boxes for $269.99, shipping included. That price is the whole price.
Does a gift renew?
No. A gift is paid once and ends after the last box, with nothing more to cancel.
Can I pick the start date and the coffee?
Yes. You pick the start date, the roast and the grind when you buy. Each gift box holds one bag, every 4 weeks.
Can I include a message?
Yes, you can add a gift note when you order. It is optional.

Delivery
How fresh is the coffee?
Roasted and shipped within 3 days. The roaster roasts your bag to order and ships it from their own roastery.
Do you ship outside Colorado?
Yes, anywhere in the US. It makes a good present for Coloradans who moved away.
What comes in the box?
A 12 oz bag in the roaster's own packaging, with our packing slip naming the roaster, their shop, their story and the tasting notes.
Roasters
Will I get the same roaster twice?
Not in your first year. Each box comes from a Colorado roaster you have not had from us before, starting at Box 1, Pikes Peak.
How many roasters are there to choose from?
Colorado has 156 independent roasters listed on the Roast Local directory (September 2026). The roasters we follow each have a page on our Colorado roasters list.
Are the roasters on this site part of the club?
No. We list roasters we like as local favorites, and a listing does not mean the roaster is part of the club. How we choose is on the sourcing page.
I roast coffee in Colorado. How do I get involved?
Email roasters@fourteenercoffeeclub.com. You name your wholesale price and ship in your own bag. Details are on for roasters.
Your account
Can I skip, pause or cancel?
Yes, anytime before the next box is roasted. Every email has links to skip a box, pause, change your card or cancel.
Will I know before a box ships?
Yes. A reminder email 3 days before each box, so nothing ships by surprise.
What if I do not like a bag?
Free replacement if a bag disappoints. Tell us and we send a different coffee, and your rating steers the next bag.
