Roast Craft Coffee & Libations is one of the beloved local roasters we follow in Colorado: an independent roaster based in Alamosa, founded in 2014. Here is what their own pages and public sources say about them, in our words.
Their story
Scott and Angie Graber opened the San Luis Valley Brewing Company in Alamosa in March 2006, and the couple brews its beer on the premises. The coffee business came out of the same interest in handmade drinks. Its first beans were roasted on a home machine that held half a pound at a time. In 2014 the brewery opened the Roast beside it. The Graber family describes it as the first spot in the San Luis Valley to combine a roastery, a brewery and a restaurant.
According to Visit Alamosa, adding the Roast let the brewery start serving breakfast and espresso, raise its beer output and offer a private room for evening events.
What they roast
House blends include San Juan Espresso Blend, House Blend, Wolf Creek Blend and Mocha Java. Single origins on the list when we checked: Sumatra, Costa Rica, Ethiopia and Colombia. Espresso: San Juan Espresso Blend. Decaf: San Juan Espresso Blend, decaf. Offerings change with the seasons, so this is what their own pages listed on 2026-09-28.
Where to drink it
Visit Alamosa lists hours of 7 am to 2 pm daily from May to October, with Sundays closed from November to April.

Why buying from Roast Craft Coffee & Libations matters here
The Roast is on San Juan Avenue, directly behind the brewery building on Main Street, and it can be booked for private parties. Coffee, food and beer are served at the Alamosa building, and bags of its roasts, from a Wolf Creek Blend to a Mocha Java, are sold through its online store.
