Their story

The coffee house sits in the old Evergreen Hotel building, which dates from 1896, and still uses the original ice storage room as a cooler. Beans are imported green and roasted by hand on site, then served next to house baked pastries, breakfast and lunch. Several building fires over the years left scorch marks that remain visible on the old wooden beams and stone walls.

The house specialty on the espresso list is the Honey Bee Latte, and the chai is made in house; a drink called Jolt and Joe pairs a double shot with drip coffee. Food runs from a Big Buck breakfast burrito to sandwiches on Blue Point 7-grain bread served with chips made in Colorado.
