Hold Fast Coffee Co is one of the beloved local roasters we follow in Colorado: an independent roaster based in Colorado Springs, founded in 2013. Here is what their own pages and public sources say about them, in our words.
Their story
The cafe has been a neighborhood spot since 2013, and all of its coffee is roasted on the premises. Hold Fast's motto is "Serving coffee. Serving people." It says the same service focus runs through sourcing, roasting and the partnerships it builds. Wholesale accounts get staff training that covers milk science, drink recipes and brewer tuning, plus new equipment and on-call repair through local coffee technicians.
Its Stay True Collection is a limited series for coffees with a strong producer story, such as a washed Kenyan lot from small farms around Embu near Mount Kenya. The roastery team designs a new seasonal blend each year. The 2026 Sweater Weather blend pairs washed coffees from Nicaragua and Kenya.

House blends include House Blend, Workhorse, Easy Street, Fly by Night and Sweater Weather. Single origins on the list when we checked: Ethiopia Bishan Wate, Guatemala Acodihue, Honduras APROCOMSA, Bolivia Cooperativa Aljiri, Uganda Rwenzori Silverback and Uteuzi Jimbo.
