Their story

Golden Pine began as the roasting side of R & R Coffee Cafe in Black Forest and took its own name as wholesale work grew. After a move in 2013 it roasted on a 12 pound Sivetz air roaster, then switched in 2017 to a restored 1987 Diedrich IR-12 that the team calls Ernesto. When R & R closed in 2023, the business became a coffee-focused roasterie and tasting room. It says no coffee is kept more than two weeks past its roast date.
