Their story

The Perk opened in 2016 and has since moved through three spaces and a change of owners. All of the shop's coffee is roasted in house on a zero-emission Bellwether roaster and sold in the cafe and online. Day Trip Espresso is an even split of light roasted Ethiopian and medium roasted Brazilian coffee.

The shop says it seldom roasts dark; its Guatemala is the one bold, darker coffee on a list that usually runs to five or six options. For undecided buyers, a surprise bag lets the staff choose one of the current coffees to ship. Wholesale is offered too, and the staff joke that their preferred place to talk business is on a ski or bike lift.

House blends include Red Dirt Hill Blend. Single origins on the list when we checked: Guatemala, Ethiopia and Brazil. Espresso: Day Trip Espresso. Decaf: Decaf Colombian. Offerings change with the seasons, so this is what their own pages listed on 2026-09-28.
