Their story
Verb describes itself as a Boulder micro roastery chasing bright, clean and fruit-forward coffees from producers who put quality first. Almost every bag is a single origin labeled with the producer and variety, with frequent Geisha, Sidra and Pink Bourbon lots from Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Ethiopia. The team traveled to Honduras to pick coffees in person and walked Denilson Madrid's farm in Santa Barbara, whose Pacas it has offered two years running.
Verb says it served as a judge for Ecuador's Farmers Collection competition and bought one of its favorite lots, a washed Typica Mejorado from Finca El Alisal, at the auction. Some lots are firsts for their growers. A washed Pacas from Honduran farmer Reynaldo Paz, for example, was his first coffee ever sold as its own micro lot.
